From kekePowers Information By-Way

Yeah. I know. This server has been down. This time... again... due to disk failure and I didn't have the resources to do anything about it until now.
I was able to recover everything from the failed disk with the help of a utility called ddrescue from GNU. It was a disk manufactured in 2006 that started to fail on me and S.M.A.R.T. told me about it way back in July I think. I turned off my machine and waited until I could get a replacement disk.

I also bought 2 new disks, Hitachi 1TB disks, and I've mounted them on /home. This means that I've now 4TB of disk available and I like it!

Oh yeah... This looks like sooooooo much fun...

What happened on this day around the world.
